Itachi's fanbase seem to be eternally butthurt that Kabuto was able to get several kill shots on Itachi & that he would have no trouble to deal with Itachi in a 1v1 situation.

The fact of the matter is dsm kabuto > itachi, itachi was not holding back per say. Sure he may have not being going all out attack but if he was what would have actually hit kabuto. On top of that itachi could not under any circumstance hold back in defense during their fight - if he did kabuto would rewrite the seal. Despite this kabuto still killed itachi twice and would have a few more times had sasuke not been there.

Despite these meaningless threads, i will still say a healthy itachi beats kabuto any day of the week because of his superior intelligence and ability to analyse tough situations. Also itachi wasn't trying to kill kabuto; he even told little boy sauske to no lay a finger on him

If not, it comes down to if Itachi is an Edo or not since we saw him getting getting beaten up pretty badly by kabuto (he might have just not cared tho)
So I say its a tie
