Honestly, I don't know whether to call this a Jutsu or a Summon, it's just out of this world, never seen anything like it.

When the Kyuubi Susanoo developed I thought I had seen everything, but nope, Hashirama was able to top even that, and a new Sage Mode?! Just WOW!

What do you see this Jutsu/Summon doing?

Other than bitch slapping Madara and the Kyuubi 1000 times. lol

My guess is that based on what we know about Hashi's wood, it could just be a huge source of energy. My prediction is that it will act as a huge battery powering Hashi's sage mode by collecting nature energy from the surrounding environment and feed it directly to Hashi.
