Ichigo was holding and has been using Zangestu, my proof is that he went to bankai and used getsuga tensho. Also ichigo is kicked out just because he never had an asauchi before all he had was a Zanpaktou created by the part of his soul. I think low rank shiningami are given those nameless zanpaktou because their souls are not strong enough to produce their own Zanpaktou
