Madara versus Hashirama WHY!?

the current chapter disagrees with this statement, seeing as how Madara and Hashirama had some what of the same mindset about peace.

I'll bet a Senju clan member killed Izuna, and that fueled Madara's anger toward Senju, leaving Hashirama no choice but to kill Madara. Like Tobirama said, he have seen Uchiha gone wild out of hate many times.

Thank you. I mean look at how the story is going. Naruto and the leaf have to do all this fighting because no one fears them, nor do they have a hokage everyone loves. If people were scared of the hidden leaf this war would have never happened. People feared the 4th hokage and though he was in charge only a short amount of time no one went to war with the leaf, his death was the result of the attempted theft of the 9 tails. Madara knew that to keep peace they had to keep fighting to intimidate others to stay in their place. The Uchiha could have had their own peace if they called the truce and went their separate ways and not become a bunch of followers under people who didn't care about the Uchiha way of life. Everything they fought for got thrown away the second they got tired of fighting. That's what pissed Madara off to the point that he'd destroy the leaf to free his people. Now that his people are gone all that left is revenge.... No happily after for Madara.

Thank you. look at the story the leaf no one fears them, nor do they have a hokage everyone loves. If people were scared of the hidden leaf this war would have never happened. He went after them to show that if not the entire leaf, he should be feared. He did it on his own. Years later Oonoki was still terrified.

why didnt Oonoki at least acknowledge that he had known / enteracted with Madara before
when Tobi proposed the Eye of the Moon Plan to the Kages?
Or did Kishi not think of that while Tobi pretended to be Madara

well the injuries madara sustained from hashirama are ultimately why he ended up clinging to life for what 40 sumthin years later
on hashi's tree dna lol... but i think all the hokages will fight against madara in my upcoming prediction...
i wish kagami had more to add the story at least in hiruzen's eyes
