I "had" 4 brothers

We know:

Madara and Izuna killed their closest people for their MS

That means that there were 5 siblings, and at least 1 died.

Theory: Only one of the brothers died, leaving four, and then Madara and Izuna killed the other two!

They did it for power to stop the constant warring, and Madara especially did it to protect his brother since he gains a newfound love for him after his talks with Hashirama.

You do not neccessarily have to kill someone for MS. Losing someone is enough. Examples are Kakashi and Obito who got it when losing Rin. Obito didn't kill her and got MS because of the trauma.

I doubt they killed anyone from their family. They lost people, yes, but it's doubtful that they killed them for power. Young Madara didn't look like someone who kills for power yet. But you're probably perfectly right when saying that he got closer to Izuna after that talk.

I also doubt that Madara had MS in the last chapter. He probably didn't even have sharingan.

if they were 5 all togeth and 2 died because of that there would be one other left why have we not heard from him in the main story yet but only izuna. its obvious that 3 died in the war and izuna and madara did not because, thats why madara loved his brother so much because he only had izuna as a sibling and did not want to lose him.

Yeah and Itachi also said Madara killed Izuna for the eyes. It was all lies to keep Sasuke away from the masked man. See what Obito said many chapters later. Plus Tobirama's statement in 619 so proves it wrong.

They were at war all the time it wouldn't be weird if Madara went through an emotional breakdown and awakened his MS.Killing a person you love isn't a requirement to gain MS.Itachi also said at part1 that you have to kill your best friend to awaken MS.He was toying with Sasuke back then, he wanted him to reach his limits to gain power.Obito and Sasuke didn't kill anyone to gain their MS.

Just watching them die to the hands of an enemy during war is traumatizing enough to awaken MS.

By who? Itachi...who wanted to be killed by Sasuke, that's why he told him that. It was all a lie, proven by the manga.
Are we even reading the same manga? No offense...

That doesn't make sense for two reasons. First of all, Madara's way of speaking of it leads me to think that they died, since he brings it up when Hashirama says his brother has died. If someone said their brother was dead would you bring up your dead brothers if you had killed them yourself? That's not really the same kind of death. He brought it up because he could sypathize.

Secondly, you don't have to kill the person to gain MS. You just have to loose them, i.e. see them die in front of you. It doesn't have to be by your hand, it can be someone else doing it, which is likely considering how much fighting there was.

Thirdly...Madara was like eight. Ten, tops. I doubt he awakened MS so young. It doesn't really correlate with what we were told about him and Izuna previously. Plus, it was at that time they starting gaining a lot of esteem in their clan, but I doubt it was when they were so young.
