Ichigo's Mother masaki was a quincy so he also has quincy traits and abilites in him.when he fought Juhabach the quincy power deep inside his soul awakened.Juhabach was also suprised to see him using quincy defence technique blut,then he commented Ichigo that he does not knows anything about his own past and left leaving ichigo puzzeled.
