Even without Yata his Susanoo could take a Bijuu Dama without shattering, Yata will reflect that back at whoever used it.

Only madaras susano can tank a bijuudama w/o special weapons and show me manga proof of him deflecting a powerful attack not sasukes weak sword stab at his shield.

Not really. Madara's Susanoo tanked 100% Kurama's Bijuu Dama. Itachi's Susanoo is a Final Susnaoo and it has Yata Mirror, a legendary shield. The strongest Bijuu Dama out there now is 50% Kurama's. While it might be damaged, it certainly isn't destroying it in one shot.

Gaaras defense is the best naruto has seen as he has never seen a susanoo.

and hiruzen was hokage way longer then anyone else, i mean he was appointed at a very young age and lived longer than any other so its easy to call him the strongest imo.
