In chapter 621, it was proven that even though the Wood Golem could hold a Bijuu Bomb, the explosion from the Bijuu Bomb itself was still efficient enough to destroy it.

Which is why Hashirama resorted to using the Hobi jutsu to protect himself from the sheer impact of the explosion.

So overall, even though the Wood Golem is strong enough to catch a Bijuu Bomb, only a barrage of Bijuu Bombs from Bijuu Naruto would be able to overwhelm the Wood Golem.

How, if Bijuu Naruto could just overwhelm it with a barrage if Bijuu Bombs? Even in chapter 621 it was proven that even though the Wood Golem could hold a Bijuu bomb, the explosion from the Bijuu bomb itself was still efficient enough to destroy it.

Which is why Hashirama resorted to using his Hobi jutsu soon after to protect himself.

True, but you got to remember that even though the wood dragon was able to suppress the kurama cloak, it didn't suppress Bijuu Mode completely.

That's the thing, if he tries to engage the Wood Golem, Wood Dragon will attach itself to his cloak and start absorbing it, once it is gone he can Shunshin away to safety but that means his cloak is useless.

Then Naruto either resorts to the double Rasenshuriken which was strong enough to cut the Juubi's tails or he would have to use his shadow clones to distract the Wood Golem with a bunch of attacks long enough for him to re-enter Bijuu Mode and use the Bijuu bomb barrage right away.

That Rasen Shuriken didn't cut the Juubi's tails by itself, it was a collab attack by the Shinobi Alliance.
