Good or Bad guy?

If you were in the naruverse and were on the level of, lets say, kakashi.
Would you go with the bad guy route (slaughter people, steal, possibly join the akatsuki)
Or the "good guy" route (will or fire and protecting friends BS)
And also why would you go with the said route?
Dont say middle ground cuz that puts on the same level of Sasuke (indecisive *******)

If you're not a bad guy as an Uchiha, you almost naturally are bad (Nagato is the exception, but his dojutsu still came from Madara so)...
