A lot of people say that high jounin+ will not fall to Silent Killing, Zabuza's specifically; however they're underestimating this technique too much.

As you can see here, Kakashi was able to sneak up on Zabuza in the mist because Zabuza was too distracted killing numerous Chuunin. Kakashi was only able to do this because of Santa Yamanaka, a sensor. Kakashi stated that he was positive that he would land a blow on Zabuza due to Zabuza not sensing him because of his act of killing Chuunins. That being said, Zabuza far outclasses Kakashi in Silent Killing, as Kakashi even said, "No one comes even close to him at Silent Killing." So, if Zabuza were to sneak up on a high Jounin+ who isn't sensor, the ninja wouldn't be able to react to Zabuza in time and Zabuza will kill them with his huge Kubikiribocho.

If you say Zabuza can't defeat high caliber ninja because he lost to Part 1 Kakashi, you are underrating him too much. Kakashi in this scan even commented on how it was a "miracle" that he wasn't hurt. Miracle: A highly improbable or extraordinary event, development, or accomplishment. Miracles are rare, for other high Jounin+, a miracle may not happen.

Just for some extra information. The only reason Kakashi stomped Zabuza the 2nd battle after the Ninken attack was because Zabuza was too emotionally affected over Haku's death and was hesitating. If he hadn't cared for Haku, he would have sliced Kakashi when he was holding Haku and would have out beat him in Taijutus, as he is shown to have better Taijutsu skill according the the data book.

Also, Kakashi only beat Zabuza the 2nd fight because he had a week to plan on a counter because he had suspicion that Zabuza was still alive. Even if he didn't plan and if he didn't have Team 7 to guard the 1st fight and used the same plan with the Ninken, it wouldn't work because the 1st fight Zabuza used Water Clones to strike Kakashi first but didn't use them the 2nd fight because Kakashi said the "same move doesn't work on him twice. That being said, Kakashi couldn't tell the difference between a Water Clone and the real Zabuza, if Kakashi allowed the Water Clone to slice him because of his lack on knowledge that it actually isn't Zabuza, the Ninken would track the Water Clone and then when they destroy it and are faked out, that's where Zabuza gets his surprise attack and finishes Kakashi and or capture him in a Water Prison.

Why do you think Silent Killing was so feared?

Thoughts?

Sounds legit. But it looks like you're a Zabuza fanboy to most.

I disagree, I feel that higher level ninjas have counters for silent killing so Zabuza would be outclassed IMO.

silent killing is a form of assassination . Its not really a 1 vs 1 thing.

But if your in a 1 vs 1 .. and its used.. then its fair i guess. but the opponent can simple switch locations.
