Yes but that still doesn't make Naruto any less of a big deal. I'm sure there are more than 2 high quality animation companies in Japan, the home of anime.

One piece is bigger and prioritized over naruto. Simply because it's better , it overshadows naruto..

It's just, it's not even just between Naruto & One Piece. Compare Naruto to Soul Eater, Ano Hana or Bleach. All have beautiful, stylish art styles that are CONSISTENT. None of those anime are nearly as popular as Naruto yet name nearly any other modern anime and it'll probably have a better animation and quality than Naruto on a week to week basis.
