Greeting's everyone this thread is to elaborate the durability of akatsukis cloaks and their resistance to jutsu damage. Warning this is not a troll thread actually listen to the argument. Here we have sasuke, using amaterasu and accidentally catching karin with it
we then see that while amaterasu is as hot as the sun it does not burn through, immediately otherwise karin would have been caught ablaze and died.
Now here we see it did burn through eventually
But the fire didnt even spread to the other parts of the cloak and Karin is alive, i mean sure she passed out cause she cant take the heat but still, it shielded her long enough for sasuke to stop the fire.
Now before this akatsuki cloaks also showed high resistance to jutsu. here is hidan before getting hit by wind release pressure assuming he didnt dodge it which if he did easily puts him the same speed class as kakashi maybe even faster since he was closer to it. So here's his cloak before wind release pressure damage
Notice the ripped cloak that was before the fight between team 10 and the zombie duo

Heck even pains cloak was fine though it was obviously at least doused by Jiraiyas fire jutsu thingy
Conclusion the akatsukis outfits are durable to jutsu to an extant that they protect the wearers.
