Far from a console hater, I have most of the consoles from the Old Sega systems to PS3. I like my consoles from time to time, But Pc is just better in every area if your looking for graphics and game quality. Simple as that really.

As i Said, Give it a couple of months and Pc's will surpass the Ps4, Same as it did the Ps3.

Ps3 excludisves are becoming Rare these days, Most games are shared with Xbox or the Pc these days, Plus for Pc Games are normally cheaper due to steam deals and so on.

Don't care, if pc is that much better then why do most ppl prefer consoles over them and why do ppl buy consoles if they already have a pc. Doesn't make since does it? Exactly their equal or PS4 > PC simple fact.

In my opinion it is totally worth all the new tweaks. You can play games as they're downloading, you can message friends through the controller without affecting your game, you can stream live/upload live, reasonable price considering how much the PS3 cost when it first came out, the most captivating graphics to ever reach the T.V, headset straight in the controller (no more knotted wires), backwards play (means you can play games for PS1-3 and there's just so many more that I could list.

PS3 Release price in Australia when it first came out - $799

PS4 to be release price in Australia - $499 (bundle)

So you be the judge if it's a big step from gaming! I hope the next console Sony makes will be a holographic universe where you actually put on a helmet and you're in the game! That would be awesome. Imagine playing Naruto on that kind of console, you use hand signs, have awesome reflexes & SHARINGAN!

We'll have that kind of technology by 2020 (7 years from now)

You're talking about high-end PCs that can run multiple games at the same time, while a basic gaming PC for like $600 can run Crysis without lag and smoother than a console. In fact, PCs aren't pushed to their limits because of consoles, since games are being dumbed down for them.

I'm more of an Xbox person, I have both the ps3 and Xbox 360 and the community and online is MUCH better on the Xbox. Sure it's not free but it's definitely worth it.

tbh I fear for the future of console gaming, the mobile platform has cannibalized the market of console gaming, why buy angry birds on the ps3 if you can buy it on the iphone?

It is too early to say. When a console is too new there are not many games available for it, I usually need more time to see the titles they will eventually release and then decide if there are enough games to make the purchase worth it.
