ok guys i know this sounds crazy but... what if they(shinobi alliance) destroyed the moon first place to prevent obito and madara from casting the ultimate tsukuyomi, in that way the alliance will be much more confident in beating madara and obito. what do you think guys?

Lol no one can destroy the moon, at best the Juubis TBB can do is leave a crater on the moon thats it. Even if they do destroying the moon means end of the world it is essential to Earth.

tiny bit of credit for the destroy the moon idea, though i can not see anyone capable of pulling it off.

The moon, on average, sits over 225,000 miles away from earth.

The circumference of earth is 24,901 miles. So basically they would need to shoot a powerful blast capable of traveling around the earth 10 times before reaching the target and delivering enough force ~_~.

Exactly. Your idea about the moon being destroy already occurred to me. None of the arguments above don't make this an impossibility. The moon was destroyed 2 or 3 times in DBZ why not once in Naruto? Or how about a genjutsu being used to make it appear the moon is destroyed?

In any case it always makes me laugh when I see people try to use real world science to predict what will happen in a fantasy world where ninja use hand signs to turn into logs or half naked blonds.
