I see your point and it is a valid one but this is not something you could answer unless you truly found yourself in the same situation. You could never really know what your decision would be unless it really happened to you.

Im sure most people will say that theyre the 1% or that theyd follow in Itachi's footsteps but that ability, that strength to betray all that you love for what you think is right without even being 100% sure that it is, almost no one would do that.

However; like i said, none of us will ever know if we're the 1% or the 99% unless we were faced with that decision in real life, in real time, and with the real consequences to face after youve made that decision

Uchiha had served and respected the Konoha government. This can be seen where Fugaku peacefully lets his son kill him.. even tho him and his wife knew.
Uchiha had served the village more then any other clan. why? because they were the first of the 2. Yet, they were segregated because of 1 person... But, people like Orochimaru were let loose by the 3rd hokage.. why?

When the police of the village is blamed for a incident they didn't do.. segregated because they "might" pose a threat... you know the government of that village is corrupt.
And it is the right of the people to stand against that government.

back in reality.... killing anyone is a criminal offence and those judged guilty should be hanged.

Yet konoha was ran by murderers like Danzo. And discriminate the village's protectors like the Uchiha.

It's a fail cause you are basicly saying only Uchihas and all Uchihas do that when we just saw Neji die for his friend and family member. Kisame die for something he believed in. Jiraiya give his life for some info on an enemy going ofter his student. Kakashi die to protect Choji. Shisui and Chiyo gave her life for for someone they didn't even know well. I can on and on.

What have Uchihas even done? Disturb the peace cause he is butt hurt he wasn't elected leader? Torture his lil bro and expect him to turn out all nice? Try to control the world cause he is pissed his wanna be GF died?

Let me clarify:

If you were the leader of w.e race you are. And you live in a country your race helped built. But because one person from your race did something horrible.. your whole race got put into a corner of the country. How would that make you feel? And then later on another incident happens, but your race has nothing to do with it. But you have blamed for that incident. How would that make you feel?
I mean it wasn't your fault right.. you and your race served your village faithfully. Always did the right thing, fought for your village in wars. But yet your government doesn't believe your equal.


When responding to those questions do not think about "i will cause a civil war, so i'll endure the segregation"... reply with what you would actually believe if it happened to your own family right this very second.
