that's the link to the latest story on yahoo. if you don't want to go to the site, ill summarize it. A homeless man was given change by a female one day. the next day the female realized she lost her ring. she went back to the same street that the homeless man was on, and he gave her back her ring. He made headlines last week for his act of kindness in returning the ring. And donations upon donations have poured in from the nation for this guy. He could have very well kept the ring for himself and sold it for cash. You would think a homeless person with nothing would do that right? Well he did the right thing and now is getting rewarded for it.

this is new I want to see more. So tired of hearing about nothing but death. its all I see, death death death. Never good news like this that puts a smile on your face, and gives a small sense that there are still some good people in this world.

I don't know..you guys may not like the story or whatever, but it made me feel good to hear this story, so I wanted to share it with you guys.

Agreed. It gets tiresome hearing negative news after negative news. Although there's not as many good people out there as there are bad, they exist nonetheless.

Exactly! The news turns everyone into cynics with reporting constant death all the time. Death is inevitable but there are great stories of life as well. The news industry needs to undergo a serious paradigm shift.

yeah, of course its good to hear these things from time to time. But i've realized that the reason most of these things appear is because they try to disconnect the general public from serious issues...Such as foreign policy, drone strikes, the economy, and so forth.

By the way, its news channels and general stereotypes that give homeless bad names.
