That thick black border ruins it. Make it a 1px white border on a separate layer and switch it to overlay.

Thick lines on avatars kill them off. Makes them look absolutely hideous. The original was a 2/10 for me. The one without the border would be around 5.5/10. Not to be harsh though but there's no point in lying to you. You'll get better in time.

I don't mind getting criticism or should I say CnC, as long as it helps me improve

My ava took like 20secs to make, My sig took like 3mins. I have a friend that fully critiques all my work to the maximum so I get better. If people tell you that all your work is good then you'll never get better, but if you get harsh critiquing you try to excel your utmost hardest so that your next piece is better.

I prefer honest and good advice that helps me get better, instead of "good one" or "nice job" ^.^
