Pretty much could live with anyone else dying, though I was pretty disappointed with Neji dying........I honestly hope it's a 2 for 1 situation.....I mean it'd suck if Lee died but if him and Sakura got killed at the same time it'd be ok Lol......Though Kishi is more is the business of trolling then satisfying so Sakura's going to do something completely irrelevent and barely useful that everyone's going to say was super pivotal instead of dying like we all want lmao......

Oh but I doubt Shikimaru will die, just because I feel like he'll play an important role for Naruto in the future considering Naruto is act first and plan after that first action failed Lol

But that's exactly why he's not likely to die! What would be the point in killing off a tertiary character like Shino if no one will miss him? Don't you know the cardinal rule of storytelling? The idea in killing off a character is that someone will feel sad when they hit the dust. And the main purpose in killing them off would be to either advance the story or to develop another character, so that character would have to be pretty important. So if it's a minor character that is killed off, it would make no sense whatsoever and would be extremely poor writing.

This, but Shino is NO minor character. He is THE character of all characters. You cannot just kill Shino. It would require the most epic, most sensible way possible, but there just isn't that we know of.

Sure, Shino's death would not have as much impact.. But Shino has this recurring joke that everybody forgets him and that he's still upset about being left out in the Sasuke retrieval mission. A good way to give Shino closure in the story and turn him into a memorable character, is by killing him off. Naruto will never forget him and Shino completes his goal to support Naruto ("Just because"). Good storytelling doesn't mean spending time developing the favourites... An author's work is a lot impressive when he makes you care for a character you couldn't give a shit about.
