Senpou means sage art doesn't it? I don't know off the top my head but I think so..

It doesn't look like frog SM or Dragon SM so I'm wondering what kind of SM it is. Do you guys think maybe it is slug SM? Maybe Hashi had slug summons like Tsunade?

It is Senpou but the markings remind me of Tsunade, so it could be one, the other or both. :shrug:

WELL... my guess is its an ancient mode passed down from senju lineage. Its likely that Tsunade's Creation Rebirth jutsu is a special adaptation of it. So its not necessarily sage mode.

Probably because he said "Senpou" which means sage art. I don't think Tsunade said "senpou" when she used her miotic regeneration.

I don't get why everyone who thinks its just the regeneration jutsu acts like they are 100% certain and ignores the text on the panel. That's your opinion and that's fine, but we still don't know if its actually the answer. After the markings show up he uses his thousand hands jutsu. Why would he need to activate miotic regeneration to use that jutsu?

My guess would be that the markings are necessary to use that jutsu, rather than the markings are something unrelated.

Probably needed that extra power and regeneration because he knew that their final clash would result in both of them killing each other or leaving both of them seriously wounded.

The markings are different. Also Tsunade stores chakra in a gem on her forehead to use the Byakugou. Hashirama has no such gem. Tsunade's markings come from using the Byakugou(Mitotic Regeneration jutsu)

So people, whether it´s Tsunade´s kinda sealjutsu or as I actually see her make up stuff, an activation jutsu which might very well be compared (due to the obvious pro put into it:-big shit BIG STUFF happening-) with sage mode
