Yes! Despite my feelings that Sakura won't get anymore development, I've always held out hope that she'll surprise and excite me again one day like she did at the start of part 1. I really want to see her become a second Tsunade!

I read all of it, and it's very plausible.
However, I just feel that this is too... far fetched. The only way I can see her getting a SM is through a time skip. It's like there's too much speculation here, that's what makes me doubt it.

Good theory, and it makes sense, I just don't think it will happen.

I don't think Tsunade has slug sage mode, just healing abilities. She is Hashirama's granddaughter so she has abilities similar to his.

D: It makes so much sense! Sakura being of no ninja-involved background seemed so dull. Maybe you're right. Maybe Kishi wanted to slowly develop Sakura later on in the story but cancelled the whole thing..since I can't see Sakura getting any power-ups anytime soon.

Well the thread says its from shikkotsurin. Shikkotsurin or Shikkotsu forest, a humid bone forest or damp bone forest.
Its translated like that on many places, translations, wiki's etc.
Where does it say it is fancy wood hill? It wouldnt even matter if that is the meaning of Shikkotsurin/Shikkotsu forest, cause slugs could live on a fancy wood hill as well xd .

  if you don't have much of chakra it will affect your body and you till turn into stone ....

Its okay if you differ .
Maybe you dont need huge amounts for the slug mode or maybe you do. Maybe she will implant Hashi's DNA, seeing she is a medic. Maybe he will talk to Sakura (seeing he is edo and on this world now), because she is Tsunade's student.
Juugo's nature absorb doesnt turn him into stone so it might not happen to everyone.
Tsunade didnt know Oro was trying sage mode and maybe she doesnt consider imperfect modes to be sage modes.

It might be the apes, but I believe slugs.

Indeed .

You think it's that simple, even becoming a sage takes a very long time.

Sage mode is about balance and perfect chakra control. We already saw how much faster Sakura did the tree climbing compared to Naruto and Sasuke.
Of course it isnt easy and she will have to train as well, but its not like Naruto did years over it or anything. There should be time for her to learn it as well.

She will probably get the slug contract after/if Tsunade dies.

This is the first theory about Sakura that has gotten me excited. I sincerely hope Sakura develops something awe-inspiring. I've never been a fan boy of any one character in Naruto... they're all my favs as they paint a great and varied tapestry of the universe they occupy. I don't like seeing any one character sidelined.

If Tsunade never learned Slug Sage Mode, Sakura never will, sorry. Especially since Tsunade is directly related to Hashi who maybe used it. And it's to late for Tsunade to reveal something like slug sage mode, since shes kinda sacrifising herself for the other kages. The theory is nice tho.

How that circle is so similar on the shoulders and back, as well on the belly, in the genjutsu Naruto was caught by Itachi Sakura appeared from the belly, now Hashi's sign similar to Sakura appears in no other place than the forehead, Sakura in the past knowing about Mokuton ninjutsu... I am not sure but haruno clan might be know for chakra control since Sakura is precise in chakra control and was suitbale for being a medic ninja. Its might be similar to Uzumaki who specialize in seals and they are also distant relatives of Senju's.

I am not sure but SM or not she will get byakugō as an upgrade ...
Sage mode just seems distant for her since mainly because of the chakra reserves she has which are low .....

Also third SM which seems plausible is Ape sage mode so lets we will get answers soon
