It's a funny story how I came to be on this website...

Hello everyone.

I found this website with a google search after reading the newest chapter of naruto... I found a 2 year old thread that angered me to the point that I just HAD to create an account specifically to add my input to this archaic thread.

And so here I am.

My irl name is Justan, I'm from the United States, I'm almost 18 years old, I'm left-handed / ambidextrous, and I'm an avid anime / manga / japan enthusiast.
I've read well over 1000 different manga, and have watched over 100 different anime series.

I love Anime, Manga, RPGs, JRPGS, Dating Sims, Visual Novel Games, etc....

Some of my favorite manga include: Eureka Seven, Naruto, Bleach, History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi, God of Highschool aka GOH, Gantz, The Breaker, Hajime no Ippo, One Piece, Kimi no iru Machi, Suzuka, Air Gear, and DBZ. These are just a few... I've read too many to mention on this post, and I've even forgotten the name of quite a few.

Some of my favorite anime are: Eureka Seven, Gantz, Durararara(forgot the exact amount of "ra's"), DBZ, and plenty more.

Some of my favorite RPG/JRPG games are: Legend of Mana, The FF series, Chrono Trigger / Chrono Cross, Cthulhu saves the world, The Ys series, and plenty more.

I've only recently gotten into the Dating sim / Visual Novel scene, but some of my faves are: Magical Diary, Shika Oka, The Princess Maker series, Host Holic, and I plan on playing many more from now on.

This might be a bit much for an introduction, but I think it says a bit about me.
I can't really think of anything else to put so I think i'll end my rant.

P.S. I'm also thinking of moving to japan within the next couple of years. Not entirely sure yet but it's right there in the left of my brain.

Thanks for the advice... shouldn't threads be locked after a certain amount of time? Sort of like a safety measure for any unaware newbies?

Well I guess that would be extra work for the mods and they already have many things to handle.
It's on the rules and since we are suppose to read them before we start being active I don't think that this is necessary.

Welcome to the base. You seem lively and a suitable match for this community. Also, it's against the rules to post on such old threads. Read the rules, they are important to NB as I'm sure you'll get many people posting you for just that (but glad they do).

Having said all of that....

PS--funny as in "strange" or "haha"?
pps--Do you know Japanese?? Awesome if you know/learning it already. If not, and you are planning on going to higher education, maybe you can use the Study Abroad programs colleges/Universities have. Foreign language majors are NOT a prerequisite, and tuition is nearly the same (maybe even less) as for whatever school you attending. Plus, you get to immerse yourself not only with the language but with the experience, culture, and its people, everyday for a college semester or two! Great way to tip your toes in the water, sort to speak. Check with your Guidance Counselor for some insights to it.
