and hashi is intelligent and strong in mind and body, i really dont see anyone beating him but edo madara, but because i cant figure out how to beat him doesnt mean other more intelligent people cant either.

My point was that most times people like minato lose for one reason only and that's because they either don't have enough Charka don't have the stamina but comparing minato's strategy to any one is stupid because jiraiya said that minato was special. Madara's chakra is special eve for the Uchiha clan, and they're know for very strong chakra's. Even if his isn't as strong as hashirama's, It's already been stated madara's mokuton is just as effective as hashirama's so your chakra argument means nothing.

Obito can take him out... S/T is an absolute defense against physical attacks and Hashi hasn't shown any sealing jutsu or genjutsu outside Bringer of darkness which is totally useless against someone who has sharingan

We can't say how he wins because we are not the writers, we can't make stuff up and we haven't seen enough of him.

If someone asked how Shikamaru can beat Hidan before he did no one would be able to give a good answer.

Hiruzen in his prime could. But old hiruzen doesnt have the chakra levels to keep up with hashirama.

Prime Hiruzen is WAYYY smarter than hashirama and has a larger arsenal. And even the manga states that hiruzen in his prime was stronger, but the manga has yet to say that hashirama is the strongest.
