I got the viz translation and it never says something like Hashirama breaking Edo Tensei or even out of Orochimaru's control. He still is under Orochimaru's control, only that he could undo the binding(maybe because of his superior senju DNA?)

That's correct, but he is still bound by Edo Tensei, Orochimaru could just release him, but as we all know Hashirama likely knows the seals to release himself, and could do so in the long duration it takes to actually release.
