Jiraiya CAN sense chakra in Sennin Mode! No one can sense Nagato.

ok naruto was able to trace jiraiya but the point iSpeak the Truth is speaking about is that nagato sensed jiraiya with his rain jutsu because of his massive chakara. however against naruto nagato was in a forest on a high hill. but i still stand and jiraiya lost because he let his guard down on his exit. but the major problem was the other pains that were summoned earlier and not accounted for because they were not sensed

Shima and Fukasaku are, and they are a part of Jiraiya's Sage mode, hence Jiraiya can also sense chakra.

just because they are doesn't mean jiraiya is? Being a sensor doesn't avoid the fact that you can get hit anyway.
Even if they are part of the sagemode, it does not mean he can do they re ability( example: sage song) they re merely summonings and i think people lack the concept of this in this base

Personally this debate will always exist until Kishi explains if some with the Rinnigan can be sensed or not including the paths he created in negato's case

jiraiya was not able to sense the other pains and neither were fukasaku or lady shima. not even naruto could sense pain, let alone nagato.

I personally think that jiraiya would have been sufficiently keen enough to sense any regular person less than a centimeter away. asura path is made of metal and the fact that he receives chakara through the piercing makes him so much more undetectable. had it been any other path with in two to three feet jiraiya would have flame boomed them or kicked their head off and notice the other paths.

maybe one path would have been resurrected and deva would have had a tough time and the rest would have been up to deva, konan and nagato. if nagato or the paths could have been sensed shima and fukasaku would have warned jiraiya. the paths were devoius and right of the bat sneaky we noticed that jiraiya's eyes immediately stayed on the paths even as they were behind him i'm pretty sure that only asura path could pull that off.

as for jiraiya's barrier it would have been use-less asura could pass for a pipe or a machine. jiraiya lost because of the extra paths though i doubt he could beat tendo pain i'm sure he could pull it off and back nagato into a corner and possibly kill konan. knowing nagato's strength he would back off. Nagato smart as he is held back his paths and jiraiya not able to detect them was at a lost for words when the other paths resurrected the paths that had already died.

point is nagato played it smart and used his undetectable to finish a fight that he had purposely dragged on
