I read the one where sasuke and kabuto were not aiming to kill.

Sasuke couldn't kill him because edo tensei needed to be released and kabuto couldn't kill him because he wanted his body.
The match was in kabuto's favor the entire time until itachi busted out izanami.

That means Edo Itachi which is sort of equal to EMS Sasuke but Sasuke can't kill him, Edo Nagato who alone would give Madara trouble plus a 2 dozens other S-rank shinobi.

Madara can't fight so many EDOs.

Sasuke is a fodder in this fight since he has limited chakra and no sealing methods.
