I don't give two shits about whatever Kabuto said 2 years ago regarding Orochimaru perfecting Edo Tensei, because Kishi just made it damn clear that Tobirama and Hashirama were not at their full strength when revived in Part 1.
----
First, let's look at what Mangapanda (the more literal translation, when compared to MS) has Tobirama say about this
"This time we were brought back to this world with our full power"
The bold part of the quote makes it pretty damn clear that Tobirama is suggesting that him and Hashirama were not at their full power when fighting Hiruzen in Part 1 (something which makes sense, considering the amount of hype Hashirama's received).
----
And now, because some of you can't live without it, let's look at what *********** has Tobirama say
"You've brought us back at virtually full strength"
Because it's ***********, almost the entire wording has been changed, but the same basic concept is suggest by Tobirama saying what he says. They weren't at full strength in Part 1. This basically suggests the same thing as the Mangapanda translation, though, and you have to be lacking in reading comprehension if you can't understand it.
----
Lastly, because some stubborn members were trying to use ***********'s seemingly faulty translation as a way to justify their pro-Hiruzen arguments, I had a well known translator (and Japanese speaker) from NF translate the lines, and this is what he said:
This says it all. You have two translations (one known for being more literal, and the other a well-known translator) saying that Tobirama and Hashirama were not at their full power in Part 1, and you have one translation (that's well known for changing the words around a lot) suggesting the same thing, but possibly confusing some people who want to interpret it in their own way.
----
And for those Hiruzen fans that are still grasping at straws

takL said:Tobirama: "Orochimaru or something, You seem to misunderstood something. ..it turns against you that youve refined the jutsu of edotensei. this time, as we were brought back to this world with our original powers about in full, Im the last man to be bound to an edotensei by your kind. its me who designed this jutsu, to begin with…."
-meaning last time when the 1st and 2nd were edos, they werent as good as their original selves.

Just give up. Hiruzen has received absolutely no hype in about 7 (or is it more?) years, whereas Hashirama, up to the most recent chapter, is getting more and more. He was the one referred to as the God of Shinobi when revived, while Hiruzen received no such recognition. He was the one who broke Edo Tensei's restraints and casually spiked his chakra levels and made everyone shit their pants, while Hiruzen did nothing but struggle under Edo Tensei's restraints and almost have a heart attack due to Hashirama's overwhelming pressure. I think it's pretty clear that Hiruzen is a retcon, and I feel like you guys are just trying to argue for him either because you have a personal vendetta against Hashirama, or because you don't want to concede an argument you've been fighting for the past year against. Just give up.
