Again i do not work well with trolls when its time for Seriousness so if you don't have anything nice to say then i highly recommend that you go buy yourself a geico and save yourself 15% or more on your car Insurance.
Okay while i was reading up on the manga to revisit some of Itachi's Story, i came across a very interesting thought.Also Bear in mind that there is absolutely no way of Finding out if anything contained in this Theory is Fact or not. The only Two people it Happened to Are apparently dead(Idk About Shisui tho he MIGHT be dead).
What if Shiisui was given a final Mission that we somehow Overlooked? Before i go on i would like you to keep in mind what Danzo, Shiisui, and Itachi's Definition of a Shinobi Is.

Ok Now With that Being Said, i would Like to get to the Point. As we All know, Danzo was Itachi and Shisui's Sensei as they were brought up so there is no Doubt that shisui Acquired his Idealogy of Self sacrifice.Keep in Mind that Danzo is a very eccentric person when it comes to dealing with the villages Affairs.
My theory is that what if Shisui WAS trying to stop the Coup D'etat with his Kotoamatsukami. He then Approached his Sensei at the time, Danzo and told him about the plan(Because of course he needs to take things up with him before he enacts his plan. At during their talk Danzo then tries to tell Shisui that His Plan would Not work. Shisui, a young and determined person that he is Argues with danzo that he Will try anyways.
Danzo seeing How determined Shisui is Danzo believes that Shisuis plan might work so he attcks and steals Shisui's right eye. Remeber that Danzo is the type that wants to ensure the total Safety of the Village NO MATTER WHAT. Danzo Believes that as long as the Uchiha are Alive, the village is in danger(Danzo adopted the 2nd Hokages Ideals).
Danzo then Talks to Shisui and convinces him that the only way to avoid the coup d'etat is the Annihilation of his clan.He then reminds him that True Shinobis Act within the shadows and Protect the things the care about.(As he Does with Itachi)
After Shisui concedes, Danzo then Gives him his Last Mission, which is to tell itachi, as his friend that the only way to ensure the safety of the village is to Kill the Uchiha. This is when he Decides to leave everything to itachi and gives him his left eye knowing that if he goes back to danzo his other eye would be at risk too.Then Shisui goes GHOST.
What Do you guys think?If there are any wholes in the theory let me know because it will help us understand the story and other things in the manga we may have overlooked.Thanks for reading. xd
