Lol what makes you think he had bankai lol..he said him self he showed fake power to Yamamoto an other people he does not have a bankai...an yea like I said he wanted to die with his comrades that's why he did not use bankai.

Of course he has bankai. He himself stated that he achieved his potential as a shinigami, and you think he did all this without bankai ? So with the feats he has shown in ALL the areas of fighting, you think he could not achieve bankai...??

Yea by that he meant he achieved everything he wanted so far does not mean he has a bankai an he does not have a bankai..plus he said Yamamoto sword was the strongest end of story he had no chance at beating Yamamoto without wonderwisse or the hogyoku.

Dangai Ichigo was the strongest but he doesn't really count in this since he was a transcended being at the time same as Aizen meaning no Shinigami or Hollow was stronger than either of them.

Just so everyone knows where I stand on this

Dangai Ichigo> Yammamoto
Hogyoku Aizen> Yammamoto.

Now however I'd say the strongest living Shinigami would be one of the Royal guards probably the bald one.

- most powerful zanpakuto doesn't equal strongest shinigami... Suicide atk to win against an inferior ???
- He didn't say he achieved what he wanted but rather that he achieved his potential.
So all the strong Bleach characters but Zaraki (special case) have bankai and genius AIZEN could not... Yeah, makes sense.

Most powerful zanpacto mean stronger soul reaper simple facts...unless u have incredible physical strength like kenpachi an aizen, Yamamoto has greater physical strength then both of them so it comes down to the sword an Yamamoto has the strongest one...like I said he wanted to die with the Other soul reapers he did not just want them to be used like that an he stays alive makes him look like aizen to the espada an that is not how he wants to be looked at....

Aizen had no bankai yea he could have got one later in the future I don't even think he cared for bankai once he sought out to get the hogyoku

The Commander is the strongest of G13.... He didn't only posses unbelievable amount of physical strength, he also possess the strongest Zankpota (sword/Banki). The main reason why the CC tried the suicide attempt by destroying everything/one while fighting Azien was for the soul reason Of Capturing the trick. In other words to make sure that azien does not pull an illusion technique and run away from the battle without them even realising.

however given recent events Zaraki seems to take this title, for we have just learnt that he sealed his true powers within himself to enjoy fights. Given that he had the strongest Raw power and unnatural life force............. being multiplied....... just wow thats the only words i can use.

am now positine that zaraki is the strongest.this is why: as a kid he was stronger than unohona who was the kenpachi then ( strongest in that generation) and now h is back to that level of strength and i believe he is on his way to get a bankai!
