Titan and Platinum are the first beings to ever possess tailed beast chakra genetically—Kinkaku being their father. Of the nine tailed beasts, the twins acquire chakra of the most powerful one, the kyuubi. The adventurers has little to no knowledge regarding the tailed beasts. They have only heard of the creatures through stories.
The beastly brothers both jump hundreds of feet upward, their massive bodies creating a shade over the prodigies.
Minato: Those guys should skip a few meals every now and then. They're blocking the entire sky for heck's sake!
Keiko gives Minato the "not the time for jokes" stare.
Titan and Platinum reach the peak of their jump, they plummet back towards the five shinobi bellyflop-style. The friends all launch jutsu upward at the twins, in attempt to soften their slam. Minato shoots Wind Release: Vacuum Bullets, Keiko propels Crystal Release: Needles, Aizu assaults with Water Release: Dragons, Itachi attacks with Chidori Needles, and Shindo blast Fire Release: Crimson Stakes. Titan's and Platinum's bodies are much too durable and massive, so the heroes' jutsu does no harm. Plus, their tailed beast cloaks grant them extra protection, so they continue to crash down toward the teens.
Minato: Everyone disperse!
Itachi: We won't evade in time!
Keiko: Better give it a try!
Shindo: Oh no.
Like Itachi assumed, they appear not to have enough time to dodge Titan's and Platinum's incoming body-slams. Now only 40 feet above, it seems that their mission is going to be over as soon as it started. Keiko has a new ultimate defense, but she can only coat herself in crystal armor. Itachi can reach amazing speeds when he enters the Eight Inner Gates. Keiko and Itachi thinks that there's no way to save the other three, so they stay by their side, wishing to die with them. Only 15 feet above, when all seemed lost.........Aizu catches Titan and Platinum with a humongous water sphere. The ball of water makes the twins look like ants in comparison.
The gang besides Aizu suddenly drop 20 feet and lands on the ground.
Minato, Shindo, Keiko, Itachi: !!!!
The pond has completely vanished, the field is changed back into a grassfield. Though, it's a lot more destroyed than it was when they first started the battle.
Aizu stands on a pedestal of water.
Minato: Aizu! You're the man!
Shindo: Aizu, how did you summon such a vast amount of water? Yeah, there was a pond here, but it didn't contain that much water...
Aizu: I don't know. I just had to do something..
Everyone looks around at the surrounding forest. The trees are dried up, the leaves has turned crispy like potato chips, and the moisturized soil has turned into sand.
Aizu: Oh...
Aizu discovered a new ability. He can absorb moisture out of anything that contains water.
Itachi: Well, that doesn't matter at the moment. Being that two, huge red monsters are hovering over us and all.
Titan's and Platinum's hot chakra boils the sphere of water. The heroes run out of time as the twins are reducing the water with the heat of their chakra cloaks. Aizu's arms tremble from holding the weight of the water and the twins.
Itachi: Hmph, well Keiko and Aizu. Looks like it's our time to take the shine from the wind masters. Light em up!
Keiko launches repetitive Lightning Release: Running Beasts at the ball of water. Aizu exerts a lightning current from his hand and at the sphere. Itachi holds a one hand toward the sky. Dark clouds swirl over the twins. Titan and Platinum shout in agony and anger as Keiko and Aizu continues to attack them with their lightning jutsu. A giant dragon emerges from the clouds. Its roar makes the sky tremble.
Itachi: Keiko, you might want to use that technique of yours to go a few feet into the ground. Scratch that, go down a few hundred feet. Aizu, think you can keep the sphere up while you're down there?
Aizu: Umm, I'll try.
Minato: I hope it's not as uncomfortable as you guys made it sound.
Itachi: Well, would you rather get obliterated?
Minato: You have a point.
Keiko: *chuckles* Come on, you'll be fine.
Keiko uses Earth Release: Hiding Like a Mole technique to sink herself, Minato, Aizu, and Shindo deep into the ground. Lightning rages in the sky and the dragon is anxious to cause some destruction.
Itachi: It's been fun, though you screwed up when you almost killed my friends. That cannot be forgiven...The thunderclap is the last sound that you two will hear. This is my jutsu....Hiei!
Itachi pulls his arm down and the lightning dragon strikes the water sphere. Titan and Platinum scream for the final time. They are completely annihilated and the first battle of the heroes' journey is over.
