So yeah we see the title of strongest shinigami get thrown around so often.. Zaraki, Unohana, Genryusai, normal Aizen, Ichigo ( with chains on his arm )... Who is it ? My money is on Aizen or Ichigo. Genryusai's zanpakuto is more powerful but overall Aizen would win in a fight because of his hax ability. He's a more complete fighter I think and smarter than CC. But with that Kenpachi title... Was Unohana stronger than CC ? I can't phantom that. What do you guys think ?

Well Aizen's haax ability should allow him to win, but then again based on Unohana and Yammamoto's bankais he can't touch them.

So Zaraki is apparantly the strongest followed by Unohana (according to her....and her Bankai had it been better displayed is extremely OP)

Then Yammamoto who's Bankai is just rediculous.

Based on feats though the CC looked the strongest....Zanka no Tachi rediculous!

Aizen is the strongest but unfortunately because of Kubo's Ichigo fanboyism, he got trolled very very hardU_U

You said normal Aizen? No butterfly Aizen, then? Normal Aizen stated Yamamoto could beat him. That's the reason he sealed his bankai with wonderweiss.

For me, it's Yamamoto. He knew about Unohana being the first Kenpachi, and still called himself the strongest of the SS over the past thousand years.

Kenpachi is close to if not above Unohana, but he won't touch Yamamoto just yet. Otherwise it's butterfly Aizen.

Do you guys think Zaraki is stronger than CC ? I say no. CC thought he was the only one who could fight Aizen ( note that both of them were under Kyoka Suigetsu's spell so I think CC is stronger than Unohana ). And I sincerely believe Aizen can beat the shit out of Zaraki, the new one. That guy is freaking OP, not only his zanpakuto. Look at his feats : strenght, kido, speed, hand to hand, reiatsu, intelligence.. He has it all. People tend to overlook this because of Kyoka Suigetsu.

I say normal Aizen is stronger overall. Aizen admitted that Zanka no tachi was the most powerful. Not the strongest. Kyoka Suigetsu would allow him to defeat CC. I believe he was playing it smart by creating Wonderweiss. Aizen would want a swift win against CC, fighting CC head on would have left a lot of damages on Aizen. That's my opinion. But I agree that who's actually stronger is debatable

I SOO don't think so. Why use a suicide attack even after he regained the use of his zanpakuto if CC was stronger than Aizen ? He knew he had no chance to win, that's why he had to resort to this method.

He choose that method because he decided to die with his comrades...as we can see aizen shikai would not work against Yamamoto bankai not a chance in this world won't even be able to get close to Yamamoto to cut him down

Aizen will never be his normal self again, so I think it is pointless to exclude his butterfly mode while including Ichigo's FGT. I would have to say that most people over hype Genryusai's Bankai. Unohana was given the tittle of strongest shinigami during the creation of the Gotei 13, while Genryusai had his bankai. Kubo tells us that she is stronger than him, and Unohana even claims to be stronger.

The strongest thing seen in this manga is FGT. Ichigo was so much stronger than Aizen that Aizen couldn't even comprehend how strong he was. He could negate the effects of kido and energy attacks from Aizen without doing anything, because his reiatsu was so strong that it just didn't affect him.

Tbh, that is a rather "limited" list you have us able to choose from as certain characters excel in something different each. But with that list Yama-jii is the strongest, even though he was vastly holding back against Aizen.

Aizen has bankai, he'd have to use it to win. That's all. Aizen's reiatsu was so strong he negated SoiFon's shikai and effortlessly brought grimmjow to his knees with a mere look.. ''He wanted to die with his comrades'' really man ? That logic >.<

Well aren't those the ones people generally debate about ? Did I forget someone ?

Ichigo surpassed all of them when he fought Aizen and came back with a chain on his arm. Aizen couldn't even handle him :D
