Quick question about Edo jinchurikis

I haven't read that part of the manga so well (because it was so..so not interesting) so I thought "Tobi gave each of the jinchurikis a Sharingan right? How did he do that?" I mean ok they gain the Rinnegan because they are his version of the 6 paths of pain but how did he place the Sharingan in the eye socket?
Their normal eyes should regenerate if he tried to replace them shouldn't they?

I think I am missing something so please enlighten me xd

It is to do something with the six paths because as all share same connected vision they have sharingan and reingann as the six paths of pain had.

Apparently Obito couldn't do that because he was using to much chakra to control them.
