How did the sage of six paths have his special eyes?? Did he inherit them from his parents and had them from birth? If so then who were his parents and why is it that they didn't invent the concept of ninjutsu? There has to be a beginning to everything.....how did those eyes at all oroginate in a human??

He's a mutant. Towards the end of his life he went bald and was wheel chair bound. His oldest son inherited his eyes and could use optic blasts. His younger son inherited his body and was able to regenerate. He also had enhanced speed, strength, reflexes, and senses. They both fell for a saucy babe that could read minds. After the sage died nobody was there to keep them from fighting over her. This created a divide in the ninja world.

Thus began the tale of the X-Ninjas and the Brotherhood of Evil Shinobi...
