And here is his hair when he wakes up. I'm probably the last person to notice this, that that is the last moment he had his hair that way. It's probably not a coincidence then, or Sasuke making fashion choices, but it's more like he can cover up his forehead now because nobody's going to poke it anymore.

yup i noticed this recently too when i was playin storm generations story mode, lol i thought it was just me and it wasn't that noticeable
