The show really appealed to me. A kid who was discriminated against by something not of his choice, who wanted to be acknowledged by someone. Naruto was lonely and just wanted someone to save him from his loneliness which reminds me a little of myself. Just the first episode had me hooked. The action, the suspense, the plot is a pretty nice bonus
I like your thread by the way.
I probably wouldn't have stuck if I followed just the anime, because if it stays boring for long enough I stop watching, or just checked in once in a while. Reading both the manga and watching the anime helped me to stick.
I also can't help wanting to know what happens next.
tbh i just want to see how it will end,the manga lost its excitement a long time ago since villains are almost untouchable.and we couldn't see a decent fight since naruto vs pain.all the MS,EMS,rinnegan and bijuu powers destroyed the quality of fights.
Well, the first thing were the unique use of techniques from other Mangas/Animes. I just kept watching it and the story really appealed to me.
At first I only watched the Anime, cuz I didn't know that there was a Manga in the first place. I started watching it about eight years ago, or something like that.
