Chapter 9: The history of the Uzumaki Clan
Hokage: How is he an…. (He stops speaking as Hiruko turns around)
Hiruko turns his back and shows them his clan symbol. It is the Uzumaki symbol with the five elements surrounding it.
Hiruko: The Uzumaki clan unique ability besides sealing justus is the ability to master all five chakra natures.
Hokage: (recovers from shock) Wait, then why in recent years was the Uzumaki clan only known for their sealing justus.
Hiruko: Simple. First there were two groups of the Uzumaki clan. The first group could use all five elements. The second group specialized in sealing justus. Both groups in recent years merged together because the Uzumaki's, who could master all five elements, never found the proper teacher.
Shinamura: What do you mean proper teacher?
Hiruko: Unless the Uzumaki's get trained in a certain way, they cannot awaken the abilities they have.
Neji: How do they awaken their abilities?
Kurama: Anger.
Everyone excluding Hiruko looked at Kurama with a shocked. They did not expect Kurama to answer the question.
Kurama: Anger is the key because unless an Uzumaki rage boils over his or her chakra stays the normal blue color of a shinobi.
Naruto: (raising his voice) What do you mean Kurama?
Kurama: (Calmly and chuckling) Calm down Naruto and let me explain. Each shinobi has a unique element that a he or she can wield. However, what most shinobi do not know is that each element has a unique color to it.
Kushina: What do you mean when you say color?
Kurama: Well in a word its charka has a special color. Think of it this way: each element has a different color from the environment. Well, each element has a special color that represents what part of said environment it is from. It’s sort of like how lighting is when it’s on the outside of the body. It’s white and blue when a shinobi uses chakra to create it.
Hiruko: Kurama you’re only confusing them more. It’s more like: this water has a blue chakra color because the color blue represents it the best. Red represents fire the best so fire’s color is red. Wind's representative color is green well that the one color I cannot explain well. Earth is represented by brown because brown is a sturdy color just like earth. Lighting’s color is white and I never quite could explain that one either.
Naruto: (in a calm voice) That makes sense. You definitely explained it better than Kurama. So why does anger unlock this for an Uzumaki and why does this not apply to any other clan?
Hiruko: Well anger unlocks it for an Uzumaki because apparently Uzumaki's are in sync with the environment the best. As for why the other clans cannot do this is because of the life force. The other clans would lose most of their shinobis because their stamina is not strong enough to handle the full power of each element.
Hokage: Full power? What do you mean? (He asks in a belittle voice)
Hiruko: The best explanation lies in the Rasenshuriken. Wind style is best explained as an element that cuts through things. The Rasenshuriken cuts through the opponents’ chakra network. It can also cut the opponent in two. Most shinobi, even if they mastered sage mode, would not be able to use the Rasenshuriken because it is too dense and complex to be mastered. The Rasenshuriken is a full power wind element. This means that to create it you must be able to unleash the full power of wind.
Naruto: So basically the Rasenshuriken requires the user to be a master of the element.
Hiruko: No. That would mean the Second Hokage could create a tsunami dragon out of thin air. To be able to use the Rasenshuriken you must be a complete element master. A complete element master has the ability to make his elements charka form change shape twice. The Rasenshuriken does this just like the tsunami dragon for water style.
Naruto: Ah it makes sense now. The Rasenshuriken goes from a shuriken to a blade when it hits its target. Which means that the water technique that you mentioned before goes from a staff or a spear in its chakra form and when it’s not striking its target, it looks like a dragon. This is my guess but it probably once it penetrates the target turns into a ball I think.
Hiruko: Naruto you explained it perfectly. As to answer how I knew you were an Uzumaki is because your chakra color is blue and green with a tint of red.
(pause)
Hiruko: (in a sad voice) Back when my bijuu went on a rampage, he had the men who were under his control kill the adults and every person who could master either sealing or elemental justu. I was lucky because I look younger then I am.
Hokage: That’s extremely sad. How did you manage to seal him inside you.
Hiruko: (in a tone of wonderment and excitement) The leader of the Uzumaki clan at that time ordered me and a couple of my friends to go to the location where special crystals that could seal him way were. There were six in total. Five of the crystals dealt with the five elements and the six one dealt with sealing. However there were six powerful guardians also. They later told us that shinobi have existed long before and have dealt with the bijuu. My team and I were surprised by that but it made sense, since Gobi, the name of my Bijuu, was 3,000 years old at least.
Every except Kurama just stared in shock.
The location goes back to the Hokage's office. A week and four days later, the Hokage decides that team seven along with Hiruko should go and stop some thieves.
Once team seven was packed, they head to finally complete their mission.
