Wonder if Kishimoto-san will responds to all the fanboy and fangirls who want to see their pairings realized.It was said

that he'll drop the towel after shippuden is finished.Says he's gotten increasingly bored of writting his most popular

series(origins of his trolls?),but if not,I hope he at least sign a from of contract with whoever understood his phylosophy

of the franchises at least for such an ulterior series.

Well I guess they could still make an action oriented manga where the action and adventure would get as much importance as the romantic relationship.It just wouldn't be a shounen anymore,but that's not like that a good portion of the actual Naruto fans would dislike such a vector.You just need to see the amiunt of conversations and byproducts of the fandom surrounding the many favored pairings in the anime world.

There was a romance centered spinoff of Neon Genesis Evangelion made by the official ppl. It was a manga called Angelic Days

So it is possible. But I doubt it
