What is a good manga chapter to you?

For me.......these two pages made a GREAT manga chapter:

This is what I look forward to.

Fancy jutsu's, big fights and strong characters are all okay, they appeal to the majority because most people only care about powers and who beats who and who is stronger than the other. That's all fine, but it has 0 depth, though it does have it's place in the story. I enjoy that stuff as well, but I do not over look what is truly important.

Personally im not big into the speech stuff. Seems a little childish and corny to me. I mainly like the chapters where former mysteries get unraveled. Like the last few. Those have been great.

Yes, im aware. And to be honest, yes. Sure they have good messages and stuff but i really feel like im watching a disney cartoon when Naruto goes on a rant about never giving up until he becomes hokage. Just my opinion of course.

To you it's just a rant. But you or me never think that an attitude like that is what made the world we know today. That's the stuff that presidents and great leaders are made of. You give me the impression that life is nothing more than just another thing to you. You are just drifting through like a rock in a flowing river............. waiting for the waterfall. Doing things that most people do, getting an education, a job, a house and a family. And that would be enough. Normal folk like us never once think about attaining recognition and greatness and actually doing something worthwhile, not just for ourselves, but for others as well............before it's our time to go.

No, ive been watching Naruto since i was 8 years old. I know quite a bit at this point. However other manga and anime opened my mind to how childish nearly everything is about the series. Just because i dont make the manga my bible or ask myself in critical situations "Oh what would Naruto do?" doesnt make me an idiot. It makes me someone who lives in the real world. If the show was conceived in America, it would be on Disney channel. As a matter of fact, it is coming to Disney sometime soon. I continue to watch it because of the massive investment of time ive already put into it. Itd be a waste not to find out what happens in the end. Plus its entertaining to debate things on the subject. But over all it is not even close to being the best anime/manga ive read/watched, and others have affected me/had more powerful messages than Naruto ever has.

Yeah, that speech was nice, given this statement:

Was what made me originally become a fan of Kakashi, and him following through with that statement on numerous occasions being what made my "fanship" of his character grow even larger.

On top of that though, I love the tactical/analytical moments in chapters, which also helped make Kakashi my favorite. Reading him, or Shikaku, Itachi, Shikamaru, Minato or whoever develop counters/strategies to defeat the opponent has always been more fun to me than actually watching the plan unfold.
