The BIGGEST Irony in Naruto!

We all know the story; the Sage of Six Paths seals the Juubi inside him, has two kids - one of which is the Elder Son who is the Uchiha Clan Ancestor and the other is the Younger Son, the Senju Clan Ancestor.

The Younger Son believed that LOVE could bring peace...
The Elder Son believed that POWER could bring peace...

However this is where the irony begins -

Hashirama Senju, a descendant of the Younger Son, believed that establishing the village system could bring peace. The village system is essentially using power and negotiations to maintain peace.

Madara Uchiha, a descendant of the Elder Son believed that the Eye of the Moon plan would bring about peace in the ninja world. This is essentially using love in the form of a genjutsu to maintain peace.

So is that just a misunderstanding of mine or what?

The Uchiha Clan Ancestor was actually the Younger Son and the Senju Clan Ancestor was actually the Elder Son. However, the Uchiha Clan Ancestor who still carried the Curse of Hatred wanted to make it seem as if he was robbed of his throne said he was the Elder Son and mishaps have happened and the modern story was born.

Possible, but a few things about your perception I don't agree with.


The current ninja system would rather resort matters through peaceful negotiation. Their military might is a result of their desire to maintain peace and protect themselves rather than to resolve negotiations turned sour. The will of Fire!

Also, no matter how real an illusion is it's still an illusion. Peace is not obtained through Madara's methods, only his personal peace.

Anytime you force someone to do something it is not using love you are using power or strength. If Madara was giving people the option then you could use that argument but since he is doing it with no regard to what people want it is not a jutsu that is creating love.

I dont understand, Hashirama is spreading out and balancing out powers (love), while Madara is about having all the power to himself for peace
