Now this may or may not have been mentioned before, but I was thinking...Why the heck doesn't Sasuke have Orochimaru Edo Tensei his family back. Is there something that is keeping this from being done. Surely they could just pull some DNA from their grave sites. Why take revenge when you could just revive them all?

If they have their own personalities intact then it does serve a purpose. He wouldn't need to take revenge anymore. They may look zombified, but they are still the same as they were before death(just unlimited chakra). I know if I could revive some of my dead relatives I would. Just a thought, I know it would mess the plot up but it's like it never even crossed his mind.

reanimation is just like reviving the dead, but with super powers. Sure they might not be pretty but at least he could see and speak with his family again. They can still keep their memories and personalities if the user of the jutsu allows.
