[Discussion] Red Haired crew

I've been wondering lately, how big do you think Shanks' crew is? Whitebeard had a lot of crews who sailed under his flag, but so far, we haven't seen that from Shanks. My question(s) is: do you think he has multiple crews under his flag, or is his single crew just amazingly strong? Remember, they stopped the war just because they showed up, no additional crews. It would be awesome if they were by themselves, cause that means Luffy and the gang doesn't have to get a bunch of other crews either, even though they do have a lot of supporters, probably.

From what we've seen, he's only been on one ship with his crew. My best guess is that they're just super powerful. Not sure though.

hard to say but it seems all the yonkos control islands and have crews wb had a fleet and kaido has a fleet and big mom has a fleet i dont see why shanks wouldnt

and even tho luffy does not its seems his is forming such as law an their alliance.....no matter how strong his crew is i doubt he could maintain his position and his territory all on his own

The ship that sailed to Marine HQ was pretty big and seemed to be brimming. Shanks might have other crews under him though.

His crew is gonna be ultra boss though.

I'm pretty sure Shanks has allied crews. After all, the only way to survive in the New World is to "ally with a Yonko".

I guess the reason he didn't show up with his allies was because they were (theory) holding off Kaido.

This just shows how powerful each of the Yonko are. If one of them (WB) could take on the full power of the Marines and Shichibukai and fight on equal terms (even though they eventually lost), I have a good feeling that if Shanks intervened with WB, the other side would have been annihilated.

Your theory is plausible. Yeah, they would crush the marines, easily I believe. Hell, even with a younger Whitebeard, they might've crushed them.

To me, it would be awesome if they were a solo crew though, and were just ridiculously strong. This most likely isn't the case, since we didn't see Whitebeard's allies until the actual war, so it's just speculation. I haven't read the entire manga, so I don't know if the size of Whitebeard's crew was mentioned before the war

I see Shanks as just his one boat of a crew....Whitebeard wanted a family so he got the largest one he could make. Shanks seems more like the kind of guy who tries to have a great time with a medium ammount of people!

Though having allied crews wouldn't really surprise me!

That's what I'm asking about. What if his crew is so strong by themselves? Whitebeard had a massive crew, but it was still a lot of fodder, except for the captains. If Shanks' crew is filled to the brim with epic fighters, I don't see how it's impossible they could be equally strong

There powerful but not that powerful all Yonko crew would have a good 12-13members that are super op'd so the main red haired pirates would have there hands full with those guys and if you had 10,000+ more fodder the RH pirates would drop rather easy

And the Haki of Shanks is also really strong, we have seen that when he went on the ship of Whitebeard, even luffy could bring down 50000 fishmen with his Haki, and Shanks is a stronger then Luffy (Blackbeard and the Navy feared him at the marineford, when the red-pirates came.

I'm hoping so. They could be strongest individual crew in One Piece. Good point about Blackbeard's crew btw

Maybe. But he's not your normal pirate though. He doesn't fight people just to fight, he does it when he has to.
