Why didnt Nagato just grow out a new pair of legs

- Nagato lost his ability to walk vs Hanzo
- His weak point is he cannot walk
- He has the rinnegan and so posseses all 6 powers of the paths
- Asura path can make you grow robotic like body parts
- So why didnt he just get a new pair of legs with the Asura paths power and get rid of his main weakness
- Running out of chakra and losing the legs wouldnt rly be too big of a problem as he is an Uzumaki and has big chakra reserves

did the paper bombs just magically appear around Nagato's Legs or something..
were they planted there?..
Maybe Nagato did use the path to give him legs, and decided to just hook himself up to the Gedo Mazou(i think)
since he cant walk while he is hooked up to it, he didnt have time to try his new legs...so he forgot how again,,
plus he wanted the world to feel Yahiko's pain...no pun..actually yes pun..but also literally

Nagato was hit by plot-no-jutsu by Hanzo so by the rules of plot-no-jutsu he had to stay immobile, no regrowing legs or using his ability to fly.
