What villain in the manga do you think ought to be FV, note I am not asking for a prediction but who you think is worthy of being the manga final villain. As for me, I think there are/were 3 main contenders for the title, they are
1. Sasuke: Because of the much anticipated the final showdown between Naruto and Sasuke, he is a likely candidate and would be the most personal (by which I refer to the emotional/personal stake involved for Naruto in the fight) of the three options as a final villain for Naruto. However, I dont think he would make a very good final villain; Sasuke has been portrayed as more of a tragedy than villain and his motives are far too personal and local if you will, he has no general ambition and only the leaf village will be at stake in his fight. To make it worse, he will almost certainly be tnjd in the end if he is the FV.
2. Madara: Up until the recent chapter, Madara could have made the perfect FV; for all we knew, and in fact we still do not know, the eye of the moon plan was merely a pretext to manipulate Obito and what Madara was really interested was in becoming the jinchuriki of the Juubi. If that will be the case then Madara will make a decent FV, I mean he, unlike Sasuke, will be a problem on a world-wide (as opposed to village) scale and he doesnt seem like the type to be tnjd. However, with the recent clarification of the Madara-Izuna story, it appears that Madara may turn out to be another tragic Uchiha whose motives are no different to that of Sasukes.
3. Orochimaru: He was the first true villain of the manga, his background story was never really emphasized much as Sasukes so he is the least tragic of a villain character in all of the manga and he was/has/is been given truly villainous motives: immortality, knowledge of all jutsu, power (Sasukes body) etc. The only problem here is his power level but I think this can easily be remedied by having him go for the Juubi and attempt to become its jinchuriki, it would be very much in character for him to want this and he would thereafter be a world-wide problem.
Tl;dr I think Orochimaru is the most apt candidate for FV; his power level problem could easily be fixed whereas Sasuke (and Madara too if he turns out to be another tragic Uchiha) will never have the evil/final villain feel to him because his motives are way too personal, local and generally not very villainous.
