.kakashi is being too overrated, and too underrated

he makes the top ten. first of all, kamui is kakashi's trump card and he causes s-rank nin plenty of trouble even without it. but kakashi's kamui works across all ranges, all he needs is to target the neck and warp the victim's head off. he tried it vs the mazou without kurama's chakra and would have succeeded too. so he can do it vs everyone. it's the only legitimate one hit ko, the only ways to really defeat it is kamui itself, the speed at which it's carried out leaves no time for a counter.

obviously there are others like hashirama, madara, hiruzen, minato, nagato, dsm kabuto, naruto, sasuke and hanzou who are stronger. but everyone yeah he can beat. in the databook w/o kamui he's only behind the sannin and itachi and by one single point at that. and he doesn't have itachi's blindness problems, or tsunade's drawbacks with the yin seal. furthermore, he's improved by leaps and bounds since the third databook, he should be at least thirty-six now, his strength, speed and stamina have all improved significantly.

*Sigh*, not another overrated and underrated character thread. All the popular characters are overrated, but a at the same time a little room can be made about them being underrated.

Anyway firstly top whatever doesn't exist therefore you shouldn't take too much notice of ranking threads and argue with who's ranking is 'right'. Fact is none is, because kishi hasn't made one. Understand this and you wouldn't take too much notice about who a member decides to put into top whatever.

Example. Kakashi doesn't make top 15, for me. He might however make top 5 for somebody else, it depends on how you judge it really.
Majority judge it on who they believe will win a fight in a situation and that never works. Quiet a lot of things contribute to a fight. Ill give you an example.

Canonically speaking, Kisame > Bee.
Gai > kisame.

Majority will agree that Bee > Gai.

However when i rank i look at their strengths rather than who won the fight or who i believe will win a fight. kisame was a good match against bee and gai was a good match against kisame.

Though Bee lost to kisame, and kisame lost to gai. If i was to rank it will be like this
1. Bee
2. Kisame
3. Gai

Similarly id put deidara above hebi sasuke, sasori above, chiyo/sakura, hidan above shikamaru. Yes the akatsuki lost, however they are still stronger than who they lost to, because each of these fights were created in a way that, akatsuki would lose.

Orochimaru, jiraiya and bee are all above kakashi in my book.
Now kakashi can beat them with kamui without knowledge, but that doesn't mean he is stronger.
The 3 character's ive named above have overall stronger techniques/abilities but kakashi holds the ace card above them.

Dunno if you watch football, but majority agree that man for man Real have a stronger team and bench than Barca.
However Barca have the best player out of both teams which is messi. Think of oro/Jiraiya/bee as real and kakashi as barca, with messi as kamui. If that makes sense.

kakashi can beat itachi as itachi can't counter kamui but itachi can counter susano'amatrasu
kakahi now can beat nagato as he can't couter the kamui but kakashi can counter his jutsu
kakashi now can beat kabuto without edos
kakashi can warp minato as he can do it in high speed so minato won't feel to use ftg
kakashi can beat bee as he can only warp his the hatchibi's neck
kakshi can counter almost any jutsu as he can go to the other dimension where no attack can affect him
kakashi was able to kill the gedo with just alook but obito protect him
kakashi use the kamui good as he used it before kuarma chakra 6 times (gedo's head,himself,naruto,2 raisnigan.kunai) and used 4 raiki,light chain.earth wall so akashi can use it with full chakra and without use any other jutsu 10 times on similar sizes

the kamui is so strong so kakshi is so strong
the kamui is fastest and strongest attack and no one can counter it
kakashi is so strong and his level is so high as he has kamui
kakashi smarter than bee ,jiraya
kakashi stronger than jiraya and bee as kakashi has stronger jutsus
kakashi doesn't have kamui only but he has so strong jutsus too
as kakashi without ms stronger than jiraya without sage mode,sasuke without ms,itachi without ms
so kakashi doesn't have kamui only if you try to say kakshi has only his ms (no)

Some of the base members consider that he can one shot anybody with kamui, and that he's top 10.
Some of other base members consider that he's not even top 20, and that anybody in the top 10 can "rape" him.
His pwoer is arrond top 20-15 , no more no less (he's 15 in my list)

On the top 10, he can only beat :

- Bee (if he decapitates him, we're talking about BM bee, remember kakashi can warp 2/3 of hachibi)
- Crippled Nagato ( If he's very fast, he can warp him with kamui, remember nagato can't move)

Don't overrate him! he can't beat minato, naruto, sasuke, itachi, dsm kabuto, obito, hashirama etc...

Don't underrate him! he can beat oonoki, gaara and kisame! and itachi doesn't "rape him".

1. He can't defeat Onoki.
2. He can't defeat Gaara.
3. Against Kisame is 50/ 50.
4. Itachi RAPES him.

And only a true Kakashi fanboy can say he is top 10. He is top 15, and I was generous.
