Addressing all the gassed up Orochimaru fans that are jumping the gun and claiming Orochimaru is now above Itachi.
For starters, Orochimaru admitted himself that he is inferior to Itachi.
This was indeed after his assault on the leaf village and getting his arms and jutsu sealed away; however, he was referring to prior his assault on konoha, he wouldn't be able to defeat Itachi.
Meaning not with his current jutsu, not even with the aid of Edo Hashirama, Tobirama, and possibly Minato.
The reason I say possibly Minato, is because we don't know if Orochimaru, at that time, knew he's incapable of resurrecting the soul of those sealed within death god. According to the manga, it seemed he didn't know what happened or that Sarotobi stopped it from occurring, or Kishi just changed his mind in part 2.
Now, Orochimaru admitted this before he even knew Itachi possessed the legendary Totsuka Blade. An item Orochimaru has been searching for all his life.
With this being said, what makes you think Orochimaru is currently above Itachi? It can be argued that Orochimarus confession of being inferior to Itachi was a while ago, but if you really think about it, besides acquiring Saratobi to his Edo collection, Orochimaru himself hasn't advanced since then. He was jutsu-less for half of part 2 and the other half sealed within Totsuka.
Itachi is still currently above Orochimaru. It makes no sense to say with the addition of Sarotobi and possibly Minato, Orochimaru can now defeat Itachi, especially when he said himself, he was incapable of doing so with Hashi and Tobirama, before he even had knowledge of Itachis Totsuka Blade. Until proven otherwise, his Edo control is no where close to utilizing their true potential and power.
Therefore Itachi > Orochimaru ...as of right now.
Note to Orochimaru fans: You can argue and say Orochimaru can beat Itachi, he has a chance, etc., etc. Just understand the manga and Orochimaru himself disagree with you

Not only does it take a few moments for them to appear in their coffins, but Orochimaru needs to place talismans in each of them in order to control them.
During this time, Itachi is perfectly capable of sealing 1 of them, at the very least, with his Totsuka Sword.
In the event that Orochimaru and Itachi face off and Orochimaru summons the kage, Itachi won't be fighting all of them.
