Great analysis. unfortunately, it looks like he will never get character development. maybe we can hope for him to appear in the ultimate ninja storm series. it does seem strange that kishi would go to such trouble to repeatedly mention a dead guy with no direct impact on the main story; would have loved to see more of someone who earned the respect of itachi
