Really, I don't condone the act/lifestyle nor do I condemn it. I have my opinions, but out of respect for fellow members, I won't state them here.

And people have their beliefs, trying to impose either side on the other without proper justification is going to just cause a flame war.

Sexual orientation ιs beginning to shape around puberty and pr-puberty age.When there are physical and anatomical changes that shape the adult body and hormonal changes that changes and reshape behaviors.In that period children reshape their identities,new feelings start to emerge and tend to seek for relationships with different gender.The hormonal and anatomical changes that are made are helping children separate and orient the gender differences,their social behaviors are reshaping and groups are reformed and include relationships with different gender.
I could suggest you many books and articles to read but the ones I know are scientific and I don't know if you can find them on line.

I really don't get why people can have such negative views on people they they probably don't even know,
refuse to know really. Just because of their own beliefs the subjugate people to various physical, mental and emotional tortues.
You don't know what they go through, or have gone through, because of something that isn't their choice.
So why badger them for it? Why not take a higher role, be a better person, be a respectable human ****ing being, and learn. Ask them about it, don't judge what they say or how they act. Really try and understand how someone can be like they are.

you see..evidence is a funny thing.
how can we even determine evidence, especially that of the human body and its psychological functions? what we know and discover is changing literally every day. i think its our own minds that will hinder us from fully acknowledging the truth about human existence, even if its indeed truth.

You're right, the world is evolving and obviously the Media is probably the biggest influence and cause of this. I was expecting you to grab some evidence from an article or researched document that talks about what Science says about Homosexuality. If you can that is. U_U

there is no inherent point in existence. now youre mixing irrationality with rationality.
science and religion. if you want proof, prove your god exists. and if he does, does it matter? why would he create gay people if he knew all of us would hate them? is it a "test"? why would god test us? does he not want us to go to heaven? in fact, WHY would god test us in the first place. if he created us, he would know we are already perfect. and if god created us and we are perfect, than why would he create a gay person and say he isnt perfect?

I prefer to exclude religion because of various reasons, the most prominent being close-mindedness.
I do respect religions and the people following them. But religion holds no weight in the talks of sexual orientation, or science (as you are looking for scientific proof).

What's irrational and rational in you're head can be debatable just like the same with everyone else. If there's no point in existence then tell me why are you living? I believe God exists, he created Science and created you and everyone else in the world breathing. He created your heart and lungs for that, created your body structures in every perfect way so that you remain alive. Take a look at other people who are disabled and handicapped. You should be grateful for how God's made you. He's placed you on this world for a purpose, so that you may praise him, remember him and then return to him when you die to get the reward which in the Afterlife. If there wasn't the Afterlife, there wouldn't be Death. And if there wasn't Death there wouldn't be Life. The thing, he has not created people gay like the top posts already stated. If he did, then it would be illogical for him to create Women, don't you think?
