I'm confused with the DDS and the kyubbi thing. some help?

I saw an older thread saying that Minato sealed Kurama's yin chakra inside the DEad reaper's soul and not in himself. but if he had done that wouldn't Kurama (naruto) receive Kurama's yin chakra after Orochimaru opened the seal?

No, the Yin Chakra was merely the excess chakra of Kurama at the time of his sealing inside Naruto, it's not a different entity or a perpetual massive power loss for Kyuubi, think of it as the liver, you take out a large part of it and the liver cells regenerate over time, so Kurama is not on half-power or any of that sort, he most certainly has regained whatever chakra he lost during his sealing, it was only necessary for Minato to lessen the chakra load of Kurama at that time in order to seal him inside baby Naruto.
