My hypothesis: So6P's elder son sealed his own eyes

I think the Sage's son, lets call him Uchiha Z, sealed his own eyes after realizing how dangerous his powers can be if they were to be passed down through generations unchecked. He hated his younger brother, but not others.

Then, subsequent Uchiha members were borned with normal eyes (sealed) and was intended to be awaken only when necessary. He had wanted the future generations to awaken the Rinnegan through love and not hatred but it was not to be as we all witnessed.

Then he wanted the deserving one with the Rinnegan awaken through love to look at the Uchiha stone monument to discover the greatest secrets to peace.

I know your not serious dude, Even if you were the story of the older and younger brother goes as: Elder brother [ Uchiha] and younger brother [ Senju] therefore resulting in Madara being the elder brother and Hashirama being the youngest. Either way it is incorrect because the Elder and younger brother died a long time ago
