Minato didn't seal nine tails chakra in himself!

I don't know how many threads have stated that Minato has the other half of the kyuubi chakra. He used the DDS on the kyuubi then used the trigram seal to seal the other half in naruto. He didn't seal it in himself like he did to naruto.

Here you can see he extracted the Yin chakra from the Kyuubi and sealed it within his own stomach. Minato then says how heavy it feels.

He sealed the Kyuubi's chakra within the Death Demon! Hence the death demon seal! If he was going to seal it within HIMSELF he would have used the trigram seal like he used for naruto! If he would have seal it within himself, then the chakra would have escaped as soon as he died, thats why kushina didn't seal it back inside herself. It was sealed in the death demon!

Yes he did, not sure if it was within the DDS himself or was it sealed within his dead body.. if was in the DDS then Orochimaru released it when he cut DDS's stomach and now is probably in Minato

there is a difference between sealing chakra away, and sealing a TB away.
for the tailed beast you need the pedastal and stuff.
for chakra, (like what naruto got while stealing chakra from kurama--making the 9tails chakra mode) you dont need anything. it just gets sealed within you.
so minato has the yin chakra from the kyuubi, but does not have another kurama with yin chakra within him.
He has a separate compartment, like naruto has, that holds the yin chakra to the tb...

No, the Yin chakra of Kurama is not sealed inside Minato.
If that was how sealing by Shiki Fuujin worked, Oro's arms and the two previous hokages would still be sealed inside Hiruzen. :|

Both Hiruzen and Minato used the same seal in the same way. Oro's arms aren't sealed inside Hiruzen, so that means Kurama's yin chakra isn't sealed inside Minato either.

No.
There are many options with this jutsu. We don’t know everything about it.
But we do know that it went right from the kyuubi to minato, with no death reaper hand.

But the thing is, we know a hell of a lot about this jutsu.

We know how it's casted, Hiruzen has explained how it works and Oro has explained it's origins and how to break the seal.

You summon the Shinigami, you sacrifice your own soul in order to take something with you and the only way to break the seal and set those who are trapped free is to fuse with the Shinigami by wearing it's mask and disembowel yourself in a very seppuku like manner.
It's actually just a simple yet effective sealing jutsu which requires a sacrifice. :shrug:
