don't be so worried about the + reps bro lol BTW the way i see it you were still trying to give orochimaru a reason to why he is evil "to forget the pain that he suffered facing the death of his parents." and that is not entirely true coz oro is an evil SMART villain who wants power just for the sake of it (a mad genius who understands what he wants and it has nothing to do with how he feels) and would step on anyone who stands in his way, he is selfish, evil, twisted and awesome. like another member said, don't try to humanize our ORO ....

Orochimaru is caring and loving indeed. He's only who he is right now because of most villains in the series = because of pain that made them emo.

He still likes Anko, he's REPEATEDLY refused Kabuto for taking over his body, etc.

He might be one of the bad guys, but the reason he has people that listen to him is because he truly cares for most of them

prove me wrong about what ?? this is not a contest ..... sheesh i already said that hiruzen saw the darkness in orochimaru ever since he was a kid, and you said that jiraiya THEORIZED that oro is trying to forget his memories. at this point (even earlier) oro forgot all that and became all evil, all that drives him is finding power at any cost, not to protect anyone or enforce peace (witch is what villains who were good guys but lost their way do) but for his own selfish self, he wants to be a god and feelings are not on oro's list.

heres the problem. We are talking about two different topics. I am trying to tell you what the origins of his current intentions are. You are trying to say that his current intentions no longer have anything to do with the origins of his state of mind. I can agree that he may not remember or care anymore about why he is who he is now. Sure he is power hungry for jutsu and immortality. that doesn't change how it started in the first place. I never said he was trying to protect anyone, of course he isn't. That is obvious. Of course hes not trying to enforce peace. thats obvious. You may be confusing me with the OP. I AGREE WITH THAT. My whole point was trying to convince and show proof of where his state of mind originated. It was not with Nawaki, it was with his parents. Btw i didnt say anything about a theory, That was all from Narutowiki.

Oro's story was already told, it'd be kind of stupid to add anything now. And if he was Nawaki's teacher, that means Anko would've been his teammate, and we've never seen any of that in her flashbacks or interactions with Tsunade.
I like your theory though.
I think that he cared about Tsunade a lot, so seeing her suffer must've done something to him. Probably because he didn't have family love like she did.
